The most beautiful venue, the temple is absolutely outstanding and likes nothing like I’ve ever seen before.
We fell in love with the venue 10 years ago when we got married. And now, 10 years on we did it all again.

We had a party on the 11th October 25, the first class service from Wendy is unbelievable this lady put her all into making the day, the buffet was excellent, so many of our (130) guests really so impressed! bar staff brilliant, not forgetting the doorman.
RAR is our diamond and certainly will be returning, can’t find enough words to thank everyone one involved.

Wow wow wow 🤩 what more can we say………. All the staff at the Royal Assembly Rooms pull out all the stops to make your day absolutely perfect. The building itself is stunning, the food is amazing, the bar staff work extremely hard to keep everyone hydrated and Wendy is the best events manager you will meet. All the staff work tirelessly to make the day run smoothly. We had the best day and evening with you and all our guests commented how perfect it was. A big shout out must be given to Wendy, Graham, Callum, Shelly and Donna without your guys at the Royal Assembly Rooms it wouldn’t be so special and close to our hearts. Thankyou for a fantastic day/evening.

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay near the venue, look up Andover House, a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had such an amazing wedding day at the Royal Assembly Rooms and thank you to all the staff including Wendy, our Event Coordinator, who was definitely on the ball and helped us with all the detailed bits and bobs.

Wow! What a venue and what a day! Thankyou to Penny and everyone at the assembly rooms for making our day so perfect.
Penny literally had everything in hand! She worked with us, she listened, guided and advised and our day was absolutely perfect. The venue, food, bar…. Everything! The temple is absolutely stunning and we revived so many compliments on our choice of venue. It was outstanding. The reception room was dressed by Penny and gorgeous doesn’t come close!
I could not recommend this venue enough! It made our wedding day and we are so grateful to everyone for all that they did xx

We were married at The Royal Masonic Assembly rooms on Friday the 8th of September 2017. Our day was truly perfect. This lovely historic building was perfectly presented, and proved ideal as a venue for our special day. The decor is elegant and luxurious. The staff were very helpful, courteous and professional. The table service was faultles, and the food was excellent. We were guided every step of the way by Wendy, who proved invaluable in ensuring that no detail was neglected.
This beautiful, historic and romantic building, is without doubt the premier venue in this area where you can be married and celebrate afterwards. I cannot praise the team and the facilities enough.

Had our wedding here on a beautiful day in May 2016. Despite all my worries of cause Steve, Wendy, Tyrone and Bev were amazing (plus the rest of the staff).
The Temple is the perfect place to hold a cermony and loved the regal feel.. All of our friends and family who had never been inside the building before were all plesantly surprised.
We were able to play songs of our choice through the organ which was so personal to us, captured some beautiful photos both in and outside of the building. (Lots of parking for guests also)
Tyrone & his team who do the onsite catering were AMAZING. The amount of compliments we had on the food.. we went for something a little different tapas as our wedding breakfast and it was all delicious. The bar staff were fab and always someone there to serve… drinks were great prices too as many guests pointed out.
We had the most amazing day and a lot of that was due to everyones efforts at the Royal assembly Rooms to make sure everything ran smoothly and just the way we had planned. Would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone!

As part of the team who work here I do have to say nothing isnt to much trouble we are happy to cater for all your needs from the perfect wedding venue private parties and functions
All the staff go out off there way to give you the day and night to remember
Bar drinks are very reasonable not like other venues
So if your looking for something a little different please call for more information we will be happy to cater for your needs from a small gathering to larger group functions and wedding.
We truly could not recommend a venue more highly. Our wedding was the happiest day of our lives, to get married in such a beautiful setting and with the help, support and patience of Wendy and her team who made it a magical and unforgettable day!
We were wonderfully looked after from the moment we enquired about the booking to after the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble and the professionalism and service shown was outstanding! I can’t speak highly enough of the all round excellence of the venue and staff.
